Beginning Future

When they got home to Kitty's Group, Kitty brought food for the group. Laura looked so sad. She also was starting to cry. Both Kitty and Fennec didn't know how to make her feel better. Laura turned around and grabbed her tail and said, "Owwie!"

"You got an owwie?" Fennec asked. "What does that mean?"

Kitty said, "It means she got a boo-boo."

Kitty went to the urgency emergency hospital in Kitty's group to fix up Laura. She gave her a Band-Aid. After the Band-Aid, Laura grabbed her tail and said, "Bet-ter."

When Kitty came out, Laura said, "Fennec is mama!"

Fennec said, "Why does she talk that way?"

"She's a baby," said Kitty.

"Bottle feeding?" said Fennec.

"Yes," Kitty replied.

A splash of something landed on Fennec's head from the refrigerator. "Laura, don't spill milk on me!" Fennec said. But Fennec did not look happy at all.

"Well," Fennec said. "I would love to help you clean that milk up," Fennec finished.

Then Kitty said, "Oww! Oww! Oww!" as coconuts fell on her head. "You can also drink out of these," Kitty said with a grin, holding a coconut.

"I'm a grown up," Fennec said. "I don't drink out of those!"

"I'm talking to Laura," Kitty said.

"Then I'm a llama's mama," Fennec said, smiling. "I think I'm starting an agency," Fennec said again.

Kitty said, "You only said it once."

"I whispered it," Fennec replied.

Kitty said, "I'm just going to get some milk for. . . Laura! Why are you climbing on my alfredo mat that's hung up?"

"Goo goo gaga," Laura said.

"What's an alfredo rug?" Fennec said.

"Well an alfredo rug is," Kitty said. . .
