Forest is Fun

"Woohoo!" Laura shouted across her room.

"What's wrong?" Kitty asked bursting into the room.

"It's great!" Laura yelled.

"What?" Kitty said trying to make sure Laura heard her.

"I said, it's great!" Laura said.

"Dart's napping." Kitty said. "Be quiet Laura."

"OK" Laura shouted.

"I said, be quiet!" Kitty said again.

"It's time to play outside!" Fennec shouted from outside.

"OK", Kitty said. "I think Laura is very ready, she is sooooo hyper today."

"Well that's great!" Fennec said.

"Well, let's go outside." Kitty said. "Laura, it's time to go outside, let's go out the door."

"I want to go out the window!" Laura shouted.

"What?" Kitty asked. "Your room is near the outer space room, come on!"

"I still want to" Laura said, "because I want to learn how to sky dive."

"OK, if you must.' Kitty said.

"She's sky diving" Kitty said to Fennec once she got down the very long line of stairs.

Once Kitty and Fennec got outside, Laura was almost to the ground.

"Let's wash those leaves and bugs off" Kitty said.

"Thank you!" the bugs shouted at Kitty.

"You are welcome!" Kitty shouted hoping the bugs would hear her.

"Sand pit, sand pit, sand pit" Laura chanted.

"Sand pit it is, again." Kitty said to Fennec.

"Weeelllllll" Fennec said to Kitty thinking. "Maaaaaybe, buuut no." Fennec said.

"Awww" Kitty said sadly.

"But I do want to go on a forest walk" said Fennec.

"I'll get Dart" Kitty said rushing into the house and then rushing back out with Dart.

"Forest walk? Sounds like poisonous fun." Dart yelped.

"Well, let's go." Kitty said.

"Laura, we're going out for a forest walk." Kitty said turning the way the sand pit was. "Laura?"

"I'm already running through the forest" Laura said rushing with every step.

"Well, let's go" Kitty said.

"This forest walk is so fun" Fennec said.

"Agree" Kitty said.

"Agree" Dart said.

"Agree" Laura said who had slowed down to let her friends catch up.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Laura yelled letting her friend pass with every step they took into the woods.

"Wait! Kitty! Fennec! Dart!" Laura yelled. But, her friends were already out of sight.
