Kitty's Kittens

Kitty's first baby kitten was a girl named Whitey because she is white. Kitty and Whitey had a great bond. Whitey loved hanging out with Kitty, but she got nervous that she wouldn't get as much time with Kitty when Kitty announced she was having another baby.

As in the next few months, Kitty had her second baby in late December. As for a surprise, Kitty didn't really care what presents she got for Christmas because it just happened to be she had stayed up all night on Christmas Eve while she was waiting for her second baby. The next morning, she had her baby, on Christmas morning. It was the perfect Christmas gift she'd had in a long time. She named her baby Stripey. It was a boy. She had named it Stripey because he had stripes.

The Not Fun Baby by Whitey

Hi, my name is Whitey. I DO NOT like that my mother had a baby. Pfft. This is the worst I say, WORST! Well, I'll start talking about why I wrote to you. Well you see, the thing is, when Kitty had her baby I feel like a solo cat lost in the universe. I never get to do anything. Really, I actually don't get to do anything. I don't have a dad, so I just wonder how my mother had a baby but nothing about that. So I don't like this baby boy. It's not because I'm a girl and he's a boy. It's because I don't get to do anything. I just have to sit, sit sit! It is so boring. I really hope he grows up fast. If he was a toddler, that would be better. Hmmph. This is the worst since Kitty had that darn baby! THIS IS THE WORST!

Bye.

From Whitey. Hmmph.

The Dialogue by Pudding

"The problem. The fun-ness. The awful. No one was bad. The good. The story."

"It was a crystal clear night. My mother was laying in the hospital of Kitty's Group just waiting to have her third baby - ME!!!!! A couple of nights ago, there had been a big hurricane. At least I could survive in my mother. It was awful. I heard it from outside of her body. When she finally had birth, she knew it was a girl just by looking at me. She never took a chance. She just hugged me and hugged me and hugged me. It was awful. It was too tight. I was laying down just with that little old teddy she gave me. I suppose it was maybe for my two other siblings. They didn't say anything when my dear mother introduced me to those little siblings. Not a word. They didn't speak. How rude! I had thought. But I knew there was one thing that made my name special. She named me Pudding because I love love love love love love love love pudding! And that's how my name was Pudding."

Cinderella Brownie?

I am Brownie. I love fairy tales, especially Cinderella. I love the movie. I've watched it about 3 million times. I love playing Cinderella too. I love reading Cinderella. EVERYTHING is Cinderella, but I have a little problem here. You see, I play Cinderella with my mom Kitty. Since she's a girl, she is always Cinderella. She's pretty much um... "X" that out. She pretty much does everything. Everything I do is the prince and stuff. Today I'm convincing my mom to be all the things I am and I, most importantly, get to be Cinderella!

One hour and 15 minutes later: It worked! It worked! I actually was Cinderella! I am so happy.

The End

STUCK

I wish I never played with Brownie and Mama's Cinderella outfit. My mom would always say, "Vanilla, no! Vanilla you can't do that." It's always that "Vanilla no no no no no." So I didn't listen because I hate when my mom says "No". Absolute thumbs down! I started playing with Brownie and Mom's Cinderella outfit. I played and played and played until Wham! All the other outfits came tumbling down the bookshelf. I ran for my life right into the Cinderella outfit. Stuck! My mom heard all the racket. She swinged the door open. "Brown..." she started to say. "Vanilla, no no no!" She untangled me at least. "It was a happily ever after ," my mom said sarcastically.

The End

On the 24th day of December, Stripey lay in his room, sobbing. It was the first time he was going to have a family party. He was going into second grade next year. He was sobbing all that morning until Kitty came in. "Stripey, you've got to eat your breakfast. It's getting cold," she said. Stripey did. He ate, then went back to his room and started crying again. He heard his big sister Whitey outside his door. She was laughing, but in a not so happy way.
